October 12, 2017 – The legendary rock band will finish its No Filter tour in U Arena which, on the contrary, will commence its operation officially. SIPRAL clad the multi-purpose stadium with decorative scales and last week it passed very demanding fire safety tests.
On September 14th, BIG Architects received the Award of Merit for creative and excellent use of steel design, at Copenhagen's new waste-to-energy plant and ski center.
14th June 2017 – The French-Czech Chamber of Commerce awarded Sipral in the category Czech design in France. Among other things Sipral was awarded for its share in Louis Vuitton Foundation project designed by Frank Gehry. For this building we created glazed facade structures of various geometric complexity.
Prague, 6 June 2017 – Sipral, a leading Czech manufacturer and supplier of lightweight building façade-work using glass and light metals, has progressed to the final phase of talks with the Swedish Hancap group regarding the sale of one hundred percent of its stock.
Sipral is going to take part in construction of AFI Vokovice, a new administration centre and deliver a glazed facade for it. The building will be situated in Prague on the border of Vokovice and Veleslavín, within easy reach of the city centre and the international airport.

The Czech company Sipral won its historically largest job to exceed 2 billion Czech crowns.
Mast climbers played an important role in the Amager Bakke façade work. Amager Bakke is a state-of-the-art waste to energy plant, one of the best in the world in terms of efficiency and environmental impact. The plant is equipped with two furnace lines and a joint turbine and generator system. A special feature is a ski slope on top of the plant.
Sipral, a Czech company, has grown from three people to a two-hundred member team in 25 years and has increased its turnover a thousand times. At present time Sipral is cooperating with renowned architects as Bjarke Ingels, Jean Nouvel or Frank Gehry. Leopold Bareš, a Sipral´s founder can see secret of its success in courage, preciseness and luck of working in the right moment with the right people.
In the first week of November our logistics centre for fabrication and storage in Jirny despatched last pieces of glazed cladding shells aimed for a new rugby stadium facade in Nanterre, Paris. The building completion, that was postponed nearly by a year compared to the original schedule, is currently planned for September 2017.
On Monday 31st October the eighteenth year of Designblock, a show-and-sell event was completed. Visitors had opportunity to compare concepts of top Czech designers with presentations of art schools and assess applicability of design elements in everyday life.
The first lighting test on the east side of Arena92 in Nanterre close to the Paris-La Defense.
LED specially developped for this project and placed at the feet of our shells are producing a light tangent to the surface of the shells.

Mast climbing units from Scanclimber are playing a central role in the facade work at a massive recycling project in Denmark.
We started operation of our managed stock of produced items on the newly arranged area of 10 000m2 in our logistics centre for fabrication and storage in Jirny, near Prague.
We are in finish of Phase 1 of a residential development Nine Elms in London. The entrance to Block G with a sales suit is open, new owners and tenants are moving to the Block D.
From 1st June the machined material rotation in our logistics and storage centre in Jirny is significantly more effective.
In Pankrác quarter, Prague, there is the highest residential building in the Czech Republic being built. 130 luxury flats will be distributed on 30 floors. The name of the project V-TOWER, Prague corresponds entirely with its shape, two towers opening in a V shape.
The rugby stadium construction goes on successfully. We have just finished the 1st stage of glazed shell installation on the western facade of Arena 92. In the following weeks we are going to continue on the eastern and southern facades. All installation works shall be finished in spring 2017 in the administration part of the western facade.
On the western facade of Arena 92, boulevard des Bouvets, Nanterre, there are the first of 600 scales installed. The building with an impressive silhouette highlighted with a white roof edge is situated westwards from Grande Arche on La Défense.
Fabrication and logistics centre is located 8 km eastwards from Prague, in close proximity to D11. Its construction started in 2006, when the company decided to enlarge its fabrication premises and move a substantial part of fabrication devices and material stock from hired premises.
On 20th January 2016 Printemps reconstructed premises were inaugurated on the Parisian Boulevard Haussmann. A large decorative wall drawn over seven floors separates a commercial part from new escalators forms a part of them.

Radim Koštial was named a new Chief Executive Officer of Sipral on December 1st. He replaces Leopold Bareš after 25 years of Sipral's existence. Mr. Bareš continues to be the only owner and Chairman of the Board.

The Czech company Sipral a.s. (joint stock company), a leading supplier of complex solutions for glazed facade systems, has contributed to one of the most prestigious investment projects in Sheffield, namely the construction of the New Engineering Building of the university.
The biggest roofed multi-functional building in France is being created close to the centre of Paris - Arena Nanterre. It is of variable capacity and can seat up to 40 000 people. We are fabricating its decorative external cladding at Sipral. The first inspection of so called "shells" turned out very well.

The Czech company Sipral a.s., a leading supplier of complex glazed façade systems, is taking part in one of the most prominent investment projects taking place in Copenhagen: the construction of Amager Bakke, a new waste-to-energy incineration plant designed by BIG Architects, a Danish studio.
Sipral acquired another exclusive contract in Paris. It is a unique and technically rare project for Printemps, a department store on a busy BOULEVARD HAUSSMANN in the center of Paris.
In February 2015 SIPRAL UK Ltd. was awarded CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) accreditation, which is perceived as a leader on the market of Health and Safety in the United Kingdom. The accreditation is required by most general contractors in Great Britain.
Last week Mr. Claus Hermansen, a project director of ARC from BIG architects, a famous architectonic studio visited our company. He came to have a look at a mock-up of a facade for a new waste treatment plant (Amager Bakke) in Copenhagen. Mr. Hermansen examined the mock-up and approved it with little remarks. The meeting was very pleasant – we are looking forward to our next cooperation!
