The architectural studio BIG presented the film Making a Mountain about the Amager Bakke waste-to-energy plant in Copenhagen
A Danish documentary about the “mad futuristic project” of Bjarke Ingels from BIG, his Copenhagen waste-to-energy plant Amager Bakke, becomes a picturesque construction symphony about how one utopian vision of an artificial ecosystem was achieved - writes Danish magazine Ekko on Making a Mountain. The Film a architektura festival, which we also supported this year, premiered the film on September 30th. We hope that the film about “our” waste-to-energy plant will soon reach a wider audience.
