Last week, the 17th national conference of the Czech Chamber of Facades and cladding (ČKLOP) took place, this year under name Facades 2024 – construction, climate, legislation.
The topics of presentations and discussions were highlighting the positive economic impact of new construction to the state budget, legislative measures aimed at protecting the climate while simultaneously trying to create a unique building with an original design and the carbon footprint that each building leaves, new cladding technologies using timber or new procedures with using HPC concrete.
The conference was held with the participation of a wide range of experts - as developers and investors, designers, architects, manufacturers of building components, or suppliers of final cladings and facades, which includes Sipral.
Among the speakers was the chairman of the board of directors of Sipral and the Chamber, Leopold Bareš, who presented our technical solution for the facade on the recently completed Masaryčka project by Zaha Hadid Architects. Among other things, he described the basic concept of the production and installation of sheet metal keel claddings, starting with their demanding design and development, design automation, production and 3D shape control.
During the afternoon panel discussion, he and others answered the questions raised.
We are glad that we could contribute to the informative program as Sipral and also as one of the founders of ČKLOP, and we are already looking forward to the next year conference.
